Dr. Ameet Kishore is an accomplished otorhinolaryngologist who has been in practice for over 25 years and has had a lot of success.
His areas of expertise include Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Paediatric ENT, Cochlear Implants, Microscopic Ear Surgery, and Neuro-Otology. He also does Microscopic Ear Surgery.
About seven hundred patients have benefitted from his treatment and care since the establishment of the Cochlear and Hearing Implant Unit at Apollo Hospital, where he was the primary driving force behind the project.
Patients who suffer from hearing loss may also get middle ear implants from him in the form of bone bridges, vibrant sound bridges, and bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHA).
In addition to Orbital Decompression, Optic Nerve Decompression, Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR), Endoscopic Closure of CSF Leaks, and Endoscopic Pituitary Tumor Surgery, he is skilled in performing Endoscopic Nasal and Sinus Surgical procedures such as Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) and Balloon Sinuplasty.
In addition, he treats lumps in the head, neck, salivary gland, and thyroid gland, and he does micro laryngeal surgery and other phonological procedures on hoarseness patients. Throughout his career, Dr. Ameet has been honored with several accolades.
He is a frequent participant in a variety of workshops as well as national and international conferences, where he also delivers papers.
He has a strong passion for education and formerly presided over the role of Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Medical Colleges that are affiliated with the University of Glasgow.
The physician is a member of a number of illustrious associations, including the following: the Cochlear Implant Group of India (where he serves as honorary secretary), the Indian Society of Otology, the Association of Otolaryngologists of India, the Neurotological - Equilibriometric society of India, and the European Academy of Otology and Neurotology.
He established and serves as the Managing Trustee of the "I Can Hear Foundation," a charitable organization, and is actively involved in charitable activities.
He is always working on new research and publications, and he has already contributed to more than 30 articles that have been published in journals that are reviewed by his peers. In addition to that, he has written six chapters for other books.
