Dr. Anil Bhan is regarded as one of the most accomplished cardiovascular surgeons in Delhi NCR. (Best outgoing graduate-Gold Medalist).

He has the most expertise doing aortic surgery out of anybody in India. In the area of cardiac surgery, he is responsible for the creation and development of more than 50 different surgical equipment.

One of the members of the team who successfully carried out India's first heart transplant, Dr. Bhan was able to save the patient's life (1994).

He is credited for initiating the three cardiac surgery programs that were established at Putta-parthi (1992), Whitefield (2001), and the Max Heart and Vascular Institute (Saket) respectively (2004).

He has successfully completed over 15,000 treatments involving the heart and blood vessels, and the quality of his work is on par with that of the very finest in the world.
