Dr. Anjali Kumar is an obstetrician, gynecologist, and laparoscopic surgeon with more than 29 years of experience.

She has invented a unique technique called the “Kumar’s Technique” the Reverse Uterine Closure Technique that is used for suturing a very thin lower uterine segment in previous LSCS patients.

This technique was presented at the apex national and international conference AICOG 2015 and FIGO -Vancouver 2015.

Dr. Kumar was also awarded "inspiring Gynecologist of North India" by Economic Times in 2019. Popular for her concept of "Natural Childbirth Oriented Pregnancy Care,".

She has started patient educational programs and labor preparation antenatal classes for expectant couples in Gurgaon.

• She was the Chairperson & Head of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Artemis Health Institute Gurgaon prior to joining CK Birla Hospital.
• She has also previously led departments at Paras Hospital, Gurgaon, and various army hospitals.

Career Highlights

• She belongs to several associations, including The Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI), Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOGS), AGOD and NARHI.
• Dr. Kumar initiated the concept of “Natural Childbirth Oriented Pregnancy Care” in and around NCR, and was the first one to start patient educational programs, labor preparation antenatal classes, and postnatal classes for expectant couples in Gurgaon.
