Dr. Hazarika completed his residency at Dr. B Barooah Cancer Centre in Guwahati shortly after receiving his Head and Neck surgery fellowship from Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology in Bangalore.

He then worked at Prince Aly Khan Hospital in Mumbai (under the guidance of Dr Sultan A Pradhan) - his diverse experience has given him a wonderful understanding of the many gradations of Head & Neck Oncology in general.
