Dr. Dharma Choudhary is a Hematologist in the field of bone marrow transplants and hematology.

He is currently working as the Head of Bone Marrow Transplant and Hematology Department at Sanar International Hospital in Gurugram, India.

Dr. Choudhary specializes in adult bone marrow transplants for thalassemia and aplastic anemia.

In his previous positions, Dr. Choudhary pioneered allogeneic bone marrow transplants for thalassemia and aplastic anemia at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi, India. He is considered one of the leading hematologists of his generation.

• Dr. Dharma has worked with several governments and private healthcare institutions.
• Dr. Dharma is also a recognized teacher, guide, and examiner for Diplomats in Hematology.
• Dr. Dharma has more than 20 years of experience in stem cell transplants and has done more than 1,800 such procedures. He has performed over 1,300 such transplants independently on both pediatric and adult patients suffering from hematological disorders.

Career Highlights

• He started successfully Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplant program at Sir Ganga Ram hospital and Dr. B. L. Kapur Memorial Hospital, New Delhi. 
• Done more than 1000 Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplantation and 300 Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation independently. The majority of patients were Thalassemia Major, Acute Leukemia (Myeloid & Lymphoid), Aplastic Anemia Multiple Myelomas, and Lymphoma. 
• Perform transplants on both Pediatric and Adult patients on a routine basis since training in Hematology includes all age groups.  
• Started the largest Bone Marrow Transplant program in North India at Dr. B. L. Kapur Memorial Hospital. He has done more than 1200 stem cell transplants at this unit.
