As the Head of the Departments of Surgical Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology, he is recognized as one of India’s most experienced cancer surgeons, with extensive expertise in treating a wide range of cancers.

Dr. Hemant’s areas of expertise include the multidisciplinary management of Urological Cancers, such as aggressive surgery for bladder cancer and nephron-sparing surgery for kidney cancer.

In the field of Gynecologic Oncology, he specializes in ultraradical surgery for ovarian cancer and HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy).

His commitment to patient care and innovation in surgical techniques has earned him numerous accolades, including the title of "Best Oncologist of The Year - West" at the Economic Times Healthcare Awards in 2023.
