His educational qualifications include an MBBS from Madras Medical College, Chennai, and a DNB in Neurosurgery from Dr. A Lakshmipathi Neurosurgical Centre, VHS Hospital, Chennai. 

His area of expertise includes Skull Base Surgery, Cervical Spine Surgery, Craniotomy, Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, Deep Brain Stimulation, Brain Hemorrhage Management, Cranioplasty, and Burr Hole Surgery.

He is a respected member of the Neurological Society of India, the Association of Spinal Surgeons of India,  the Skull Base Society of India, the Indian Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and Indian Society of Neuro-Oncology.

Dr. K. Sridhar received the Best Doctor award from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University.
