Dr. (Col.) Kumud Rai is a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon who has more than 25 years of experience in the field.

He held the position of President of the Vascular Society of India, and it was under his direction that a number of vascular surgeons received their training.

In India, Dr. (Col.) Kumud Rai is a vascular surgeon who is known and respected throughout the medical community.

Dr. Rai attended the esteemed AFMC College in Pune for both her MBBS and MS (Surgery) degrees. After that, he received a fellowship from Erasmus University in Holland and completed it.

In recognition of the contributions he made during the Kargil War, the President of India conferred upon him the Presidential Citation Award, the Pioneer in Vascular Surgery Award from INDOVASC, the Vice President position of the International Society for Vascular Surgery, and the Sena Medal.
