Dr. Mahipal Sachdev, with over 36 years of experience, is an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon. SMILE Eye Surgery, LASIK & Refractive Surgery, Cataract Surgery, Cornea Services, Ocular Surface & Dry Eyes Disorders, Keratoconus Treatment, Computer Vision Syndrome, and many other procedures are among his specialties.

At the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, he earned his medical education (AIIMS). In 1984, while pursuing his postgraduate studies in ophthalmology at AIIMS' Rajendra Prasad Center, he received the Best Resident Award and placed first overall (1982-1984).

He returned to his alma mater for the following ten years after finishing his senior residency (1985–1987), first as an assistant professor (1988–1991 and subsequently as an associate professor) (1991-96).

With more than 94 articles published in reputable journals and the author of more than ten well-regarded books and manuals, including A Practical Guide to Phacoemulsification, one of the first books on the topic published in 1996, Dr. Mahipal is a recognized expert in cataract and refractive surgery worldwide.

He has presented more than 495 academic papers at conferences held in the state, the country, and the world.
