She holds the world record for removing the largest fibroid from the uterus,  without harming the patient’s reproductive organ. 

She has also received many other awards for her contributions to the medical field.  Dr. Malvika Sabharwal graduated from Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi and then pursued postgraduate training in gynecology and obstetrics.

She received additional training in hysteroscopy under Dr. Wamsteker in the Netherlands and laparoscopy with Dr. Adam Magos in the United Kingdom.
