Dr. Neha Shah, an accomplished Bariatric Surgeon. She has 23 years of experience in Advanced laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgeries and has done advanced laparoscopic Gl and bariatric procedures.

She completed her educational journey with an MBBS degree from Government Medical College, Surat, followed by an MS degree from the same institution. She received a fellowship from the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons.

Her expertise is complex laparoscopic surgical procedures, Incision Laparoscopic Surgeries, and a wide spectrum of weight loss and metabolic surgeries, including revision bariatric procedures. For a decade, she has served as the head of the Institute of Minimal Invasive Surgery in various corporate hospitals in Chennai.

Dr. Neha Shah has been recognized as an international operating faculty for Bariatric Surgery and a teaching faculty for weight loss surgeries over the last eight years, with roles as an International Teaching Faculty for Laparoscopy at J&J Surgical Institute in Chennai and for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgeries in Colombo, Sri Lanka. 

Dr. Shah is an active member of several professional organizations, such as the Indian Medical Association, Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons, Obesity Surgery Society of India, and the International Federation For The Surgery of Obesity & Metabolic Disorders.

Her contributions have been recognized with awards such as the Sundaram Award and the GEM Award in 2011.
