He has trained six DNB candidates in gastrointestinal medicine, completed fellowships in endoscopic ultrasound at the Institut Paoli-Calmettes in Paris, high-resolution esophageal and anorectal manometry and 24-hour pH-meter at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia, and single-balloon enteroscopy at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology in Hyderabad.
