Dr. Rajneesh Kachhara has a wealth of expertise accumulated over the course of more than 22 years In the area of neurosurgery.
He received his education at the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), which is located in Trivandrum, Kerala.
At the time of his graduation in 1994, he was working there as an associate professor and senior faculty member. He is skilled in performing a variety of procedures that involve the brain.
His particular areas of expertise include skull base and vascular surgery, pituitary tumors, meningiomas, CP angle tumors, and other complex brain tumors such as intraventricular tumors.
Additionally, he performs microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia and surgery for intracranial aneurysms.
In addition to this, he has an interest in the treatment of severe head traumas and spinal tumors. He completed fellowships in skull base surgery at the Keio University School of Medicine in Tokyo, Japan.
The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, United States of America; and The George Washington University in Washington, District of Columbia.
Between the months of November 2003 and August 2013, he worked at Bombay Hospital, Indore, in the capacity of senior neurosurgeon and head of the department of neurosurgery.
It is said that he was the one responsible for establishing it as a leading center for neurovascular surgery and brain malignancies.
He is the author of a large number of publications as well as chapters in books. His neurosurgical work has been presented at a variety of conferences, both domestically and internationally.
Recently, he was presented with the "Best Brain Surgeon in Madhya Pradesh" award at the Global Health Care Excellence Awards, which was given out by Prime Time Research Media Ltd.
