Dr. Rakesh Khazanci is widely regarded as one of the best plastic surgeons in India. He's worked at a few of the world's best hospitals and has been practicing for 25 years or more.

Dr. Khazanchi is a plastic surgeon and general surgeon with degrees from the prestigious Punjab University. After that, he attended St. Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne, Australia, to complete a Fellowship in Microsurgery.

He has been privileged to share his knowledge with both first-year and advanced medical students. Dr. Khazanchi has given numerous guest lectures, symposia, and workshops in India and around the world.

Has held positions as head of the Indian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, the Indian Society for Brachial Plexus Surgery, the Indian Association of Phonosurgeons, and the Indian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery.

The areas of cosmetic surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, vascular abnormalities, replantation of severed sections, and head and neck reconstruction that particularly interest Dr. Khazanchi.

• He served as the head of the plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery department at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and as a senior consultant there.
• At the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, he held the position of both Professor and Head of Plastic Surgery.
