Dr. Rashmi Pyasi has been practising surgery for 23 years. She specialises in laparoscopic surgery, bariatric surgery, and general surgery. She has performed over 1600 minimally invasive polyp removals (MIPHs), is a pioneer in the field of coloproctology, and has extensive experience with scar-free, single-incision laparoscopic gall bladder surgery. Besides laparoscopic (incisional) hernia repairs, weight loss surgery, and breast diseases, she is an expert in treating other conditions related to female genitourinary systems. She is a sought-after speaker, having presented at conferences and seminars all throughout the country. Many scholarly publications have included her work. Many doctors from different parts of the country have travelled to study from her and gain experience with her single-incision and other minimally invasive surgical techniques. She currently works for the National Board of Examination for General and Minimal Access Surgery as an examiner. She has organised numerous CMEs and conferences on a national scale. Scholarships and Grants Qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (MP) in July 1991.
