He earned his medical degree from the University of Lucknow In 1959, He earned his MRCP from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh (RCSE) in 1965, and he earned his Diplomate of the American Board of Paediatrics in 1968.

He joined the National Academy of Medical Sciences in 1995 and is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Edin) (1977), the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (1984), and the Indian Society of Nephrology (1985). Member of the Association Council of the International Pediatric Association, Founder Member of the Indian Society of Nephrology, and Editor of INDIAN PEDIATRICS. The doctor offers a wide range of services, such as diagnosing and managing conditions like diabetes, congenital malformations, nebulizer therapy, and thyroid disease in children.
