About Doctor

Dr Tapan Ghose is a Cardiologist, with a career spanning more than 30 years. 

He completed his MBBS from Silchar Medical College. He received the prestigious Dr. Anjan Chakravorty Memorial Medal in Medicine for achieving the highest marks.

He did his postgraduate training in internal medicine at Assam Medical College and obtained his MD in 1993. He was awarded the DNB (Medicine) by the National Board of Examinations in the same year.

Dr. Tapan’s area of expertise includes Pacemaker Implantation, Acute Aortic Dissection, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Heart Conditions, ASD / VSD Device Closure, Hypertension Treatment, Patent Foramen Ovale, and Non-Invasive Cardiology.

His extensive work includes over 100 publications in national and international journals.

Dr. Ghose is the author of the "Handbook of Lipidology." 

He is an esteemed life member of the Cardiological Society of India, a fellow of the International Medical Sciences Academy, and a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences.

Additionally, he holds fellowships from the Cardiological Society of India, the American College of Cardiology, the Society of Cardiological Society of India, the American College of Cardiology, and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, USA.

• Dr Tapan Ghose was awarded the DNB, Cardiology in 2001 by the National Board of Examination after successful training at Batra Hospital Medical Research Centre, New Delhi in 2001.
• He was awarded the Cardiologist of the Year 2014 by the Indian Health Care Summit and awards.
• He was awarded the Dr. Anjan Chakravorty Memorial Medal in Medicine for securing the highest marks in Medicine in 1988.
