Dr. V. P. Singh is a renowned neurosurgeon with approximately 30 years of experience in the field.

Dr. V. P. Singh's expertise in neurosurgery encompasses all aspects, including cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerves.  The surgical treatment of brain tumors, cerebrovascular surgery, epilepsy surgery, and radiosurgery are some of Dr. Singh's areas of expertise. Over 400 intracranial aneurysms have been successfully operated on by him, and he is also actively interested in the treatment of arteriovenous malformations using radiosurgery methods.

At the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, where Dr. VP Singh served as an Additional Professor and Unit Head of Neurosurgery, he is recognized for establishing both the Gamma Knife Unit and the epilepsy surgery program.

In all of these capacities, he was a neurosurgeon. Alongside his colleague and mentor, Professor A. K. Banerji, he has also done work at the VIMHANS facility in New Delhi. Alongside Professor Banerji, Dr. Singh started working at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi in the year 2007. Dr. V. P. Singh was serving in the capacity of Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at Apollo.
