Dr. Vikram Pratap Singh has been practicing surgical oncology for over 35 years. He has completed fellowships at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, University of Sydney, 1996, and the UICC (ICRETT) at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, between October 1987 and October 1989. At Armed Forces Medical College, Dr. Singh has taught both undergraduates and graduate students.
Both the Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai and the Royal Marsden Hospital in London were important educational stops for him.
In 1974, he was awarded the Mani Gold Medal for outstanding rural health contributions.
He has published over twenty scholarly articles in prestigious national and international journals.
He is particularly interested in the fields of clinical oncology, radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, image-guided radiotherapy, three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy, stereotactic body radiotherapy, and stereotactic radiation therapy.
