Dr. Vinay Sabharwal is an accomplished general and laparoscopic surgeon with 39+ years of practice. He has conducted more than 10,000 Laparoscopic procedures without complications.

His specialties are in minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendicectomy, hernia repair, ectopic management, ovarian cyst removal, myomectomy, vaginal hysterectomy with or without assistance, ureterolithotomy, and colorectal surgery.

In addition to the Urological Society of India, the Asia Pacific Hernia Society, and the European Association of Endoscopic Surgeons, he is a founding member of the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India and a member of the Indian Association of Gastroendoscopic Surgeons (IAGES) (AMASI).

Dr. Sabharwal received his MBBS and MS in general surgery from the Government Medical College in Sri Nagar and his FICA from the International College of Angiology, respectively.

The "Pratisht Nagrik Samman" was presented to him at the Arya Samaj in Karol Bagh, and the "IMAAMS Distinguished Service Award" was presented to him at the AMSCON in 2007.

He is one of the select few private physicians to be appointed as the official surgeon to India's President.
