Dr. Z.S. Meharwal, with over 30 years of experience, is a distinguished Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgeon in his field.

He graduated from King George's Medical College in Lucknow with an MBBS, MS (General Surgery), and M.Ch (Cardiothoracic Surgery).

He was a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at London's famed King's College Hospital. He has over 30 years of experience in cardiac surgery and has performed over 30000 surgeries, including difficult heart operations.

He is a forerunner in many new cardiac procedures in the country. Dr. Meharwal is one of just a few cardiac surgeons who undertake heart transplants and ventricular assist device implantation.

Dr. Meharwal has a long history of teaching and training. He is the DNB Cardiothoracic Surgery Programme Director at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute.

He has taught numerous cardiac surgeons in India and overseas who practice independently at various centers.

Has been invited to participate as a faculty member in national and international gatherings and has published widely in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
