Dr. Anil Kumar Anand has a wealth of expertise in the area of radiation oncology, having accumulated it over the course of more than 30 years.
After receiving his MBBS from Dayanand Medical College in Ludhiana, he went on to get his MD (Radiotherapy and Oncology) from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh.
He is a graduate of both of these institutions. At the New York Hospital Medical Centre of Queens, where he received his advanced education in radiation therapy, he completed his residency.
Additionally, he graduated from the Middlesex Hospital Medical School in London with specialized training in Radiotherapy for the Treatment of Head and Neck Cancers.
In the past, he has worked for institutions such as the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, Batra Hospital and Medical Research Center, New Delhi, and PGI Chandigarh.
His most recent article, entitled "Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) in Recurrent Head and Neck Cancers," was one of the numerous scholarly works that Dr. Anand has contributed to throughout the years.
In addition to the Indian Society of Oncology and the American Society of Radiation Oncology, he is also a member of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India.
In addition to that, he serves as an Advisor for Scientific Bodies such as WHO, ICRO, and other UN organizations. He is a contributor to the Journal of Cancer Research and Therapeutics, where he serves on the editorial board.
