Dr. Krishna Subramony Iyer is one of India’s top pediatric cardiac surgeons over 30 years of experience. 

He has successfully performed life-saving surgeries on over 10,000 babies, children, and adults with congenital heart diseases.

Dr. Iyer specializes in performing Fontan and Fontan-type procedures, double switch operations, Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Connection (TAPVC) repairs, and one-stage and multi-stage corrections for complex congenital heart conditions. 

He has also done rapid two-stage arterial switch procedures and performed the first successful rapid two-stage arterial switch and double-switch operation in India.

Dr. Iyer is the founder and former President of the Asia-Pacific Paediatric Cardiac Society and the Paediatric Cardiac Society of India. 

He is also an invited international member of the American Association of Thoracic Surgeons, recognized as one of the top pediatric cardiac surgeons in Delhi.

One of his notable achievements includes the successful operation of Baby Eliana Jewoola, a 2-year-old from Nigeria with an atrial septal defect, her father praised his expertise and care, which led them to life-saving treatment in India.
