Dr. Rakesh Chopra is a renowned medical oncologist who has gained acclaim both at home and abroad for his expertise in treating leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and bone marrow transplants, among other blood malignancies.

He has been a part of some of the best cancer hospitals in the world during his 40 years of experience in the field of medical oncology.

While he primarily focuses on blood cancer, he also treats breast, lung, prostate, colon, and gastrointestinal malignancies.

Dr. Rakesh Chopra is one of many Indian oncologists who have dedicated their careers to improving access to cutting-edge cancer care in their home country.

Dr. Rakesh Chopra specializes in the early diagnosis of colon and gastrointestinal cancers by a variety of endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, proctosigmoidoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy.

He studied oncology at prestigious facilities such as Mumbai's Tata Memorial Hospital, New York's Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and New York's Jewish Long Island Hospital.

Dr. Chopra has spent the last four decades teaching and training medical oncology students at some of India's top institutions, including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, the Armed Forces Medical College, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, and Paras Hospital.

In addition to his many other accomplishments, he is currently acting as the Artemis Cancer Institute's Director and Head of the Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Bone Marrow Transplant division.
