Dr. Ramkinkar Jha is one of India's most renowned orthopedic surgeons, with over two decades of experience working at prestigious hospitals, including Medanta - The Medicity, Narayana Health, Tata Main Hospital, and AIIMS. After completing his studies at Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, he was awarded the gold medal and the title of Best Outgoing Graduate.

He attended the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi to earn his Master of Surgery (M.S.) in orthopedics. After earning an M.S., he went on to finish a senior residency at AIIMS in New Delhi in the role of registrar (Orthopaedics).

He has studied under some of the best orthopedic surgeons in the world in countries including Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and India (AIIMS, New Delhi, Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, CMC Vellore, and Bombay Hospital, Mumbai). An active participant in the Royal College of Surgeons, he (Glasgow).

He also belongs to several other prestigious Orthopaedic organizations and associations, including those that focus on knee replacement and arthroscopy.

As a writer, he has contributed to various high-profile publications on both the global and national levels.

In addition to performing joint replacements, he has written chapters on trauma and sports injuries for several books. Many national and international conferences have featured him as a speaker.
