At the Armed Forces Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he served as both a consultant and the head of the dermatology department.

At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn, England, he worked as a consultant occasionally.

He earned an MD (dermatology), an MBBS, a DVD (London), a DTMH (England), and a FAMS (Austria) after completing his medical education.

He is involved in the American Academy of Dermatology and V.M.D., the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, and the British Association of Dermatology.

He also helped establish the Indian Society for Hair Restoration Surgery.
