He has successfully performed over 1,000 bone marrow transplants, a number that continues to grow, underscoring his expertise and dedication.

Dr. Ahmed specializes in treating a wide range of hematological disorders, including thalassemia, aplastic anemia, multiple myeloma, sickle cell anemia, and conducting autologous stem cell transplants. 

He completed his MBBS at Pt. Ravishankar University earned his MD from Shivaji University, and DM in Hematology from the prestigious Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore.

• His studies have also focused on outcomes of treatment with low-cost protocols in adults with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia in tertiary care centers in India.
• He has explored the molecular basis of Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome among Indian patients.
• Dr. Ahmed was awarded the University Gold Medal in MD Pathology by Shivaji University in 2003.
