Dr. Sanjiv K. S. Marya is widely recognized as one of the best orthopedists in India. He has a successful career spanning more than 30 years and has performed more than 15,000 joint replacement procedures to his credit.

He received his MBBS from Maharashi Dayanand University and his MS (Ortho) from the prestigious PGI in Chandigarh. Both institutions are located in India. After that, he received his M.Ch.(Ortho) from the University of Liverpool and his FRCS from the University of England.

In Delhi and Gurgaon, Dr. Marya was the first surgeon to do a bilateral knee and hip replacement in a single sitting.

He was the first to pioneer knee and hip replacement surgery with the assistance of a computer.

In Delhi and Gurgaon, he is recognized for being the first to do a Unicompartmental (Half Knee) replacement, and he has also done unique work on fractures in joint replacement.

He is a prominent member of well-known organizations such as the Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society, the Indian Orthopaedic Association, and the Indian Arthroplasty Association.

Dr. Marya's areas of expertise include Joint Replacement Surgery (both Primary and Revision) for the joints of the upper and lower limbs, as well as Trauma Management according to AO Principles.

• Nearly three decades have passed during the time that Dr. Sanjiv KS. Marya has spent practicing medicine and specializing in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Marya's areas of expertise include Trauma Management according to AO Principles and Joint Replacement Surgery for the joints of the upper and lower limbs, both of which fall under the category of Primary and Revision procedures.
